Dotti is part of the Just Group. Just Group owns and operates the Just Jeans, Portmans, Dotti, Jacqui E and Jay Jays retail brands.
On 26 January 2025, Myer Holdings Limited acquired Just Group Limited (excluding the Peter Alexander and Smiggle brands, which are now owned by Premier Retail Holdings Limited).
Customers will still be able to purchase Peter Alexander and Smiggle brands from the Just Group website for a transitional period, along with Just Group’s iconic Just Jeans, Portmans, Dotti, Jay Jays and Jacqui E brands. When you purchase from the Just Group website, you are transacting with Just Group Limited (acting as agent on behalf of Premier Retail in relation to the Peter Alexander and Smiggle brands for a transitional period).
The story of Dotti
Dotti was founded by Raymond Levis and Linda Bowen in Sydney in 1981. Rumours persist that the inspiration for the Dotti name comes either from Linda's mother Dorothy, reputedly a style icon in her own right, or from the stylish shopping destination in Rome, known as Via Condotti.
In 2004 the Dotti chain became a part of The Just Group and began expanding throughout Australia and New Zealand. In as little time as it takes to bat your lashes, Dotti exploded from just ten stores to opening its 100th store in December 2009. In 2012 Dotti launched an Australian online store and more recently in 2015 a New Zealand specific online store.Dotti will continue to conquer the fashion world throughout this year and into the future.
